(NDP) - New York City residents are experimenting this year with a self-service Thanksgiving Dinner table. A fully functional storage/server device, the Thanksgiving Day table is in full trials this year with an eye to being marketed across America in 2006 in time for Easter. The main features of this table include a multi-layer serving area, a storage compartment that can hold up to 60lbs of food and a seating area for 12. Available expansions include a built-in dishwasher, a turkey broiler and a folding storage system to pack the table away after the holidays.
