(RGN) - Teenage drinking and drug use starts earlier when friends are using drugs and drinking alcohol. A report released Monday shows that when a teenager's friends are drug and alcohol abusers, the odds are higher that he/she will also become an abuser. If a teen's friends do not use drugs or alcohol, neither will they start.
Parents of teen drug and alcohol abusers had no comment and were referred to treatment.
