(BDB) - One person was killed and several wounded when Mr. Johanssen, a top rated Scrabble player, was forced to forfeit his game when an opponent played the word 'hoked' and he began shooting a gun he pulled from his jacket. Witnesses said that Mr. Johanssen was an unusually reserved player that just seemed to burst into violence when his game was ruled forfeit by a referee. "It was madness, with tables being overturned, people shouting and screaming" said one player at the scene. Police reported that the suspect will be held at a psychiatric hospital pending his court appearance.
