NORAD

(THP) - NORAD has announced that despite massive cutbacks to staff and equipment budgets, they will continue the annual exercise of tracking Santa as he delivers gifts all over the world on December 25 despite the year after year of failures in determining the "Red Man's" home starting and ending place. "Every year it gets harder and harder to prioritize this event," said Captain Mitchell, "since we must have results in tracking and how we are able, with all this state of the art equipment, we can lose Mr. Claus time after time when he completes his deliveries around the world." Captain Mitchell explained that losing Mr. Claus as he completes his circle around the globe is understood as a major failure by the bi-governmental departments that finance NORAD, despite more than 14 years of the annual tracking exercise. American and Canadian officials have denied any pressure on the NORAD military department to provide an 'end result' of the annual Santa Claus tracker that may determine future funding.
