(OBM) - Ryder Cup officials today issued a statement distancing the international contest from scandal by stating "emphatically no golf balls are currently suspected of being 'corked' in any teams interest." Oakland Hills Country Club is rife with rumors concerning the tagging and testing of golf balls taken out of play after the incredible distances hit by Team Europe. "Drives with that distance don't just happen in these weather conditions" one unidentified country club judge stated. "Long drives always bring rumors" but there is no investigation stated Mr. Grenwell, club spokesman.
