(WMP) - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have instituted a new "Driving with Care" program featuring the "Safety Bear" and the newly enacted traffic control laws which allow police officers to pull drivers over, conduct a 20 question driving skills test at roadside, and if the driver fails, suspend their license until they pass "Makeup driving school". Residents of Helmsford, BC, are overwhelmingly in approval of the new program, as one resident said "Get the poor drivers off the road, once and for all." Other jurisdictions are closely watching the program, with the possibility of starting similar programs in their towns. "The RCMP are already traffic cops, so what's a better way to get careless and reckless drivers off the road than by sending them back to driver's school?" said the mayor of neighboring Helmsfield.
