(LCD) -
Dunkin Donuts PR director has denied reports of a
soon-to-be-released new product line "low-card donuts". An unnamed
source inside Dunkin Donuts, America's largest donut chain, has
reported that the company is soon to announce a low-carb donut in
an effort to reverse the trend of falling sales and stock prices.
Reputed to be a special ingredient mix that includes whole wheat
flour and aspertame sugar substitute, the round sweetener-topped donut
may be appearing soon in 4 flavors: glazed, cranberry, raspberry
and lemon. "Test groups have been giving mixed reviews of the
product line, but we are sure we have a winner" stated the
anonymous source.
